Application Checklist

Submit the application and $25 application fee (payable to Christ Episcopal School).
Send the Independent School Common Recommendation Form and the Transcript Release Form to your child’s current preschool or day care center if your child is currently enrolled.
Schedule a tour of the preschool with Mrs. Gaye Maust, Director of Admission (tel 301-424-8702, email gmaust@cesstaff.org.
Schedule a visit with your child to the preschool by contacting Mrs. Gaye Maust, Director of Admission.
Please Note Regarding Admission:
- Children must be three years old by September 1st for the 3's class and four years old by September 1st for the Pre-K class.
- Admission decision letters are mailed in early March.

Submit the application and $50 application fee (payable to Christ Episcopal School).
Attend a Christ Episcopal School Open House and/or schedule a tour of the school with Mrs. Gaye Maust, Director of Admission and Financial Aid.
Contact Rockville Psychological Assessment Services at (301) 548-8836 to arrange for admission testing. All kindergarten applicants are given the WPPSI-III test for admission. (Parents may choose another psychologist to administer the test.)
Send the Independent School Common Recommendation Form and Transcript Release Form to your child’s current school.
Bring your child for his/her mandatory playgroup session in January. The Director of Admission will contact you regarding the date.
Please Note Regarding Admission:
- All applicants must be at least five years old by September 1st of their kindergarten entrance year.
- Admission decision letters will be mailed no earlier than the second week of March.

Attend a Christ Episcopal School Open House and/or schedule a tour of the school with Mrs. Gaye Maust, Director of Admission and Finiancial Aid.

Bring your child for his/her class visit to the CES kindergarten. The Director of Admission will contact you to schedule this visit.

Send the Independent School Common Recommendation Form and Transcript Release Form to your child’s current school.
Schedule a tour of the school with Mrs. Gaye Maust, Director of Admission and Financial Aid (tel 301-424-8702).
Schedule your child's admission testing with the Director of Admission.
Schedule you child's class visit with the Director of Admission.
