Honor Code
All members of the Christ Episcopal School community accept and adhere to a code of honor and honesty as a manifestation of the values that we share.
Each member of the community is expected to show respect for others and to act in an honorable manner in all aspects of our community life. Because of the principles we share, we do not condone cheating, lying, or plagiarism.
- Cheating is defined as giving or receiving any unauthorized assistance on any assignment, quiz or test, regardless of intent.
- Lying is any misrepresentation of the truth or failure to state the truth, with the intent to deceive.
- Plagiarism is any presentation of the ideas, thoughts, or words of another as one's own, regardless of intent.
As a sign of the practice of this honor code, every Upper School student will write and sign the following statement at the end of each test:
I have followed the honor code and have neither given nor received assistance during this test.
